About Planning Department

Planning Department is responsible for improving the citizen's economic and social development that are living within the CSMR, chiefly through the formulation of development plan using enrich database and advance technologies such as GIS etc. to strengthen the e-governance by providing round clock access to digital data

Objectives

The main objective of the Planning Department is to ensure that the region is developed in balanced manner. The utilization of land resources is planned and implemented in an organized manner to meet the needs of the present and the future generation, through Spatial Planning and to secure the highest Liveability Index for the citizens of CSMR.

Functions

CSMRDA perform following functions to achieve its objective:

Prepare Development Plan using advanced technological tools (GIS). It will be strengthening e-governance by providing round clock access to digital data, this would help end users to make legal and regulatory requirements in cost effective and efficient manner.

Provision of physical infrastructural and social amenities through Development Plan.

Updating Data and Maintenance with respect to ground reality.

Objectives of Planning Department :

Decide Road pattern for CSMR region.

Process facilitation for preparation of ELU map using advanced technological tools.

Prepare Development Plan for CSMR Region.

Planning & installing Governance tools to improve ease of doing business; thereby providing efficient services.

Transforming CSMR into a digitally empowered society.
